EAST LONDON – South African Gospel Recognition Awards (SAGRA) is thrilled to announce the opening of nominations for its 2nd Annual Awards Ceremony. Following the success of its maiden event in 2022, held in East London, the organization is gearing up for an even bigger celebration of the talented individuals and projects in the South African Gospel music industry.
The nomination process for the 2023 awards officially begins on 31 July 2023 and will close on 31 August 2023. The categories for nominations include Best Soprano, Best Alto, Best Tenor, Best Keyboard Player, Best Guitarist, Best Drum Player, Best Producer, Best Artist Manager, Best Gospel Promoter, Best Radio Gospel Show, Best Local Radio Presenter, Best Band of the year, Best Gospel Music Project, Best International Music Project, Promising Rising Star, and Best Worshiper.
SAGRAs aims to honour and recognize the contributions of individuals and projects in the South African Gospel music industry. It is an annual event that brings together stakeholders in the industry to celebrate and uplift the gospel community.
