NQADU – In a shocking turn of events, Inkciyo Eastern Cape a prominent organization advocating against bullying, has found itself at the center of serious allegations made by former member Inako Matheza against the CEO and Founder of Inckiyo Eastern Cape Nasizo Mndende. Matheza claims to have experienced abuse and bullying during her time with the organization, tarnishing its reputation as a champion of advocacy.
Inkciyo Eastern Cape has denied the allegations expressing dismay and concern over the potential impact on their brand. They assert that Matheza was a mentee under Mndende’s guidance and the organization had been actively involved in her personal development since she joined in 2020. They highlight their support for her career and the recognition she received within the organization.
According to Inkciyo Eastern Cape statement issued on 26 September 2023, there have been no previous reports or concerns regarding Mndende’s behavior towards Matheza. They do acknowledge that Matheza’s participation declined over time, allegedly due to her studies and the establishment of her own foundation. However, they deny any negative repercussions or animosity resulting from this.
The organization maintains that they have never been involved in disputes between Matheza and Mndende, neither as colleagues nor as members. They emphasize their commitment to professionalism and the importance of addressing concerns through proper channels rather than through social media rants.
While they acknowledge the right to express grievances, Inkciyo Eastern Cape urges individuals to do so responsibly and take appropriate steps to address their concerns. They conclude by stating that they will not be commenting further on the matter.
Eastern Cape Daily News tried to reach Inako Matheza however in the time of this publication unfortunately she hasn’t got back to Eastern Cape Daily News.
