EAST LONDON – Montywood and Kumkani FM hosted a film premier in Zensa B&B Terrance in Quigney, East London on the 9th of September 2023. Phelokazi Juqu is the script writer and the director of bitter love ll. featuring incredible actors such as Siyanda Futshane as Lizo Mango, Africa Nkamisa as Putco Vellem, Sinazo Mdoda as Simmy Hlongwane, the Executive Producer, Mr. Unathi Dyubula known as the best Producer and the founder of Kumkani Fm and Montywood producing Isrhalamunca series, the Rise of Nguni and the recent romantic love story called bitter love ll was the mastermind behind this drama.
To give a brief description of Bitter love ll, Lizo Mango in his first marriage discovered that his own wife, Vuyo is cheating on him with her Colleague, Putco Vellem.the trials of the drama is available in Kumkani Fm Facebook page and on Montywood app for glimpse of bitter love ll.
Montywood is an online subscription video on demand that was established in 2019, proudly producing their own African original movies and tv shows, taking content to other filmmakers.
Montywood had it’s Plans to produce their own content and also their dedication to be seen by people. trying to reach media houses to commission their work but unfortunately there was no luck, and that was the reason Montywood was established in the first place.
“Kumkani is a community radio station that was established to assist communities to have their own voice, especially those who are enthusiastic in entrepreneurship and hustling, we wanted to be the voice of those people and hustlers,” says founder of Kumkani FM Unathi Dyubula.
In addition, Kumkani Fam radio station and broadcasts for Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality is based in Scenery park, East London, surrounded by Port Alfred, Scotterheim, King Williams and Butterworth.

“In this filmmaking industry nothing beat planning but mostly working with passionate individuals in the team, we are a ultimate developmental platform and what we are trying to achieve is to be a stop-shop when it comes African story telling in Africa,”says Mr Unathi Dyubula.
Eastern Cape is very reach when it comes to sorry-telling, Montywood planning on raising the bar by reducing “braindrain in the country and stopping people to look for job opportunities in Gauteng.
