EAST LONDON – In a dazzling spectacle that adorned East London’s landscape, the Mrs BCMM Grand Finale 2023 unfolded with grandeur on the 18th of November 2023 at Buffalo Toyota, East London. In a society often plagued by discouragement and limitations, Mrs BCMM emerges as a beacon of empowerment and opportunity, dedicated to fostering growth, networking, and self-discovery. Mrs BCMM Targeting individuals aged 22 to 46, this platform champions the ambitions of both ladies and gentlemen, providing a space to build and brand themselves.
Host of the Mrs BCMM Unathi Ndzube mentioned how exciting this years grand finale was, “this is our second annual of this beautiful event, I must say God has graced us with elevation because this year we saw a huge difference and growth . The journey was challenging yet so exciting,” Ndzube.
Central to their mission is the elimination of the ‘pull her down’ syndrome and the disheartening ‘Bazothini abantu’ mindset that has historically hindered dream pursuit. Unathi Ndzube futher stated that Mrs BCMM aims to challenge these attitudes, empowering participants to embrace their aspirations without fear or societal constraints.
“Age is no barrier,” affirms the platform’s leadership, emphasizing that one’s determination and mindset are the keys to achieving anything. Mrs BCMM stands as a testament to this belief, encouraging individuals to defy limitations and chase their dreams relentlessly.
One of the contestant and former Mrs BCMM Queen 2022 Unathi Mbangeni-Mdolo shared highlights about being crowned in the previous year, “This journey for me was transformational, I’m so happy that I’m not the only one that was transformed by this journey,”said Mbangeni-Mdolo.
More than just a networking space, Mrs BCMM embodies a spirit of selflessness and community. Vision-minded leaders actively engage and mentor others without expecting anything in return, fostering a culture of support and growth.
At its core Mrs BCMM strives to revive the values of Ubuntu – a philosophy that encompasses compassion, love, respect, and trust among individuals. By promoting Ubuntu Bethu (our humanity), Ukuzi Thanda (to love), Uzingce (to be proud), and Nokuzithemba (to trust), the platform seeks to restore dignity and solidarity within communities.
Participants of Mrs BCMM express their gratitude for the platform’s impact, highlighting how it has instilled confidence, shattered barriers, and rekindled hope.
In addition former Mrs BCMM Queen 2022 Unathi Mbangeni-Mdolo shared highlights about being crowned in the previous year “This journey for me was transformational, I’m so happy that I’m not the only one that was transformed by this journey,” remarked Unathi.
The 2023 crowned Mrs BCMM Queen Ayakha Mgqibi, “Most people get crowned then they disappear and not partake in any program but to me as a community builder , I want to be the voice of the voiceless , I’m very much community oriented so this crowns will make it easy for me to participate in anything that helps build communities,” expressed Mgqibi.
Yolanda Peterson one of the judges for the night “ it was a tough competition, the ladies really worked hard and delivered as per assignment,” said Peterson
