Berlin – In honor of the 10th anniversary of Berlin November Horseracing Experience, all ticket holders will have an opportunity to enjoy a free ride to and from the Ntabozuko racecourse on the 25th of November 2023.
This initiative is a collaboration between Berlin November and Mayibuye Transport Corporation, aimed at reducing traffic congestion, minimizing accidents, and providing a solution for those in need of transportation.
Mayibuye CEO Pashee Nompelo Roboji, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting the importance of entertainment in keeping workers engaged. “Our service has been a bedrock of transportation for workers between East London and King Williams Town for a long time. Entertainment plays an integral part in keeping workers proactive and productive, this partnership ensures that we cater for our clients in both their personal and professional setting,” Roboji added.
Berlin November’s Media Relations Manager, Sinethemba Gayiza, emphasized the convenience and stress-free experience this partnership offers to event attendees. “They just need to arrive early at their closest pick-up point as this is on a first come first served basis,” Gayiza added. The partnership also contributes to road safety by reducing the number of vehicles on the road.
The Eastern Cape Department of Transport is proud to support Berlin November, as it provides an opportunity to spread their road safety message to a wider audience.
Eastern Cape Department of Transport Spokesperson Unathi Binqose expressed that, “The event is one that attracts a lot of patrons, creating a great platform for the department to spread its road safety message to a wider audience. And it’s comes at just the right time for us as we gear up for the Festive Season Arrive Alive campaigns.”
Various pick-up points have been designated, and the buses will operate on a first-come, first-served basis between 11:00 and 13:00.
